Fiddes Lightfast Water Stains (1 litre)
Fiddes Light Fast Water Based Stains are non hazardous, free of toxic chemicals and with low VOC’s are environmentally friendly.
A range of Light Fast Water Stains, formulated to offer exceptional ease of use, combined with an unparalleled, uniform depth of colour for use on all interior timber surfaces.
Fiddes Light Fast Water Stains are ideal for use under Fiddes complete range of finishes, can be hand or spray applied and offers a clean, consistent appearance combined with excellent light fast properties.
The stains can be mixed together to achieve customised looks, are easy to use and have a dry time of 1-4 hours depending on application method and substrate.

Application
Stir the contents well and always check the shade before application.
Wipe on Method – Take a clean, lint free cotton cloth or sponge and apply in the direction of the wood grain where possible. Take care to remove any excess stain immediately with a separate, clean absorbent cloth, again following the direction of the grain pattern. To obtain a uniform colour, always wipe evenly, blending the stain over the whole surface area by exerting a degree of pressure when applying by hand. Leave to dry, and do not sand between coats.
Sponge Applicator Method – Use a 7inch (or wider) Paint Pad Applicator (available from hardware stores or Fiddes Website) and a wide bucket or paint tray. Saturate timber following the direction of the grain working out a few boards/areas at a time. Use a paint brush to blend in end boards and leave.

1 -4 hours at room temperature depending on application method
